About the event
In partnership with the CarbonNerds from the LIST, the Ministry for Consumer Protection, the Ministry of International Cooperation, Greenpeace and Infogreen we ought to bring you local short and long term solutions and actions to decarbonise in Luxembourg. There are 5 events to discuss sectors with high carbon emissions - energy, mobility, housing, food and consumption goods.
Food
Organic and/or local food? Vegan or flexitarian diet? The environmental benefits of food choices can generate many debates, due to the variety of food production systems and the complexity of potential impacts on human health and ecosystems. Unsurprisingly, food is therefore a topic where misconceptions about environmental impacts tend to arise.
In this talk, we will explore how what we eat can affect the environment, looking at the whole supply chain, from the farm to the fork, and how we can mitigate these impacts.
