The Luxembourg Upcycling Challenge aims to promote upcycling in Luxembourg by promoting new talent that has not yet been brought to light. The winner will be selected by a jury and the best pieces will be presented at a fashion show at the Cloche d'Or shopping centre on 15 June.

The challenge:

​

• Create a light box jacket in size M to XL, any gender.

• The jacket must have buttons or a zip, as well as pockets and long sleeves.

• The basis must be a preloved piece of clothing or fabric that will be upcycled.

​

Participation criteria:

​

• Participation is open to everyone age 16+.

• Participants are required to send video updates of themselves and their work every two weeks.

 

Selection procedure:

​

• The winning garment will be selected by a jury based on quality of finish, style and fit.
